Installing Turbocharger Oil Tank

Specifications for wrench sizes (a/f specifications) for screw heads are described as follows:
- Torx screws: (E..) for external Torx, (T..) for internal Torx.
- Hexagon-head bolts (internal and external hexagon): Wrench size (a/f)
Information
- Replace all gaskets and O-rings.
- Use the lubricant Kluber Syntheso Glep (Part No. 000.043.204.68).
- Install oil tank.
- 1.1. Fit oil tank from below, inserting the vent line into the oil tank at the same time.
- 1.2. Fit and tighten two external Torx screws (E10, M6 x 25) -1-
at the oil tank.
→ Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.)
- Fit and tighten external Torx screw (E10, M6 x 12) for shield on the oil tank.
→ Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.)
- Fit turbocharger oil return line and vent line at the oil tank.
- 3.1. Fit external Torx screw (E10, M6 x 12) -3- for vent line -5- .
- 3.2. Insert oil return line -6- into the oil tank -arrow- and fit external Torx screw (E10, M6 x 12) -2- .
- 3.3. Fit external Torx screw (E10, M6 x 12) at the oil return line support -1- .
- 3.4. Tighten all the screws.
→ Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.)
