Installing Pressure Pipe

  1. Lightly coat hose connections in the ambient air system and rubber mountings on the air filter housing with Kluber Syntheso Glep (part number: 000.043.204.68). 

    Information 

    • Ensure that the pressure pipe is fitted correctly and carefully over the rubber sleeves. 
    • Pull all connections to check that they are secure. 
  2. Install pressure pipe.
    1. 2.1. Fit the pressure pipe and rubber shroud on the throttle body and slide them on.
    2. 2.2. Fit the pressure pipe into the rubber mounting on the air cleaner housing -2-  and slide on the pressure hoses.
    3. 2.3. Tighten screw-type clamps -1-  .

      → Tightening torque: 3 Nm (2 ft. lb.)

  3. Fit the lines, hoses and cable plug on the pressure pipe.
    1. 3.1. Slide the ambient air hoses -1-  onto the pressure pipe and secure with spring band clamps.
    2. 3.2. Position the cable plug -2-  for the pressure sensor.
    3. 3.3. Slide on and secure the control lines -3 and 4-  . Check that the plug-in coupling is seated securely.
