Installing Air Guide For Charge Air Cooler

- Guide the air guide through the wheel housing to the air intake and position it.
- 1.1. Make sure not to damage the rubber lip on the air guide at the air intake.
Information
Specifications for wrench sizes (a/f specifications) for screw heads are described as follows:
- Torx screws: (E..) for external Torx, (T..) for internal Torx.
- Hexagon-head bolts (internal and external hexagon): Wrench size (a/f)
- 1.1. Make sure not to damage the rubber lip on the air guide at the air intake.
- Fit the cover.
- 2.1. Screw in and tighten ten hexagon-head bolts (a/f 10, M6 x 18) -1-
on the air guide in the wheel housing.
→ Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.)
- 2.2. Screw in and tighten one M6 hexagon nut (a/f 10) -2-

→ Tightening torque: 3 Nm (2 ft. lb.)
- 2.3. Screw in and tighten one M8 hexagon nut (a/f 13).
→ Tightening torque: 23 Nm (17 ft. lb.)
- 2.1. Screw in and tighten ten hexagon-head bolts (a/f 10, M6 x 18) -1-
on the air guide in the wheel housing.
- Screw in and tighten seven tapping screws -arrows-
for the air guide on the air intake.
→ Tightening torque: 3 Nm (2 ft. lb.)
