Preliminary Work

  1. Raise the vehicle at the prescribed jacking points. → 4X00IN01 LIFTING THE VEHICLE
  2. Remove underbody panel. → WM 519419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR REAR UNDERBODY - Removing → WM 519319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR CENTRE UNDERBODY - Removing → WM 519219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR FRONT UNDERBODY - Removing
  3. Remove cardan shaft. → 390219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CARDAN SHAFT  - section on "Removing"
  4. Place oil collection pan under the transmission.
