Preliminary Work

Information
- The vacuum system must be leak-tested before replacing the crankshaft sealing ring.
- Check the vacuum system for leaks.

- 1.1. Once you are sure there are no leaks, carry out repairs as described.
- Remove transmission.

Information
Loosen and tighten screws on the component according to specifications.
- Remove pressure plate with clutch plate.

- 3.1. Unscrew nine M8 cheese head bolts crosswise and in several stages. Remove pressure plate with the drive plate.
NOTE: Removing and installing flywheel- Leaks
- Risk of damage to the flywheel and adjacent components
→ Be very careful during removal and installation.
→ Get another person to help because of the weight.
- Remove flywheel (two versions possible: single or dual-mass flywheel).

- 4.1. Toothed segment p201 b must be positioned on the stud to counter it, then loosen the nine M10 cheese head bolts. Unscrew bolts and remove flywheel.
