- When lowering, the engine must not rest on the rear axle cross member.
- Secure the engine.
- 1.1. Move the engine into installation position using the transmission jack.
- 1.2. Fit and tighten two M12 collar nuts (T55) on the threaded bolts for the engine mountings.
→ Tightening torque: 85 Nm (63 ft. lb.)
- 1.3. Lower the transmission jack and move it out of the work area.
- Install bumper and heat shield.
- Install heat shields for the catalytic converters.
- Install charge-air cooler.
- Install rear apron.
