Removing Oxygen Sensor

Installation position of oxygen sensors on side 1-3
- Oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter - black cable
- Oxygen sensor ahead of catalytic converter - blue cable
- Cable holder
- M6 fastening screw → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7 ft. lb.)
- Cable mounting points for oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter
- Cable mounting points for oxygen sensor ahead of catalytic converter
Oxygen sensors on side 4-6
- Oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter - black cable
- Oxygen sensor ahead of catalytic converter - blue cable
- Cable holder
- M6 fastening screw → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7 ft. lb.)
- Cable mounting point for oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter
- Cable mounting points for oxygen sensor ahead of catalytic converter
- Unclip cable for oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter (black) at the mounting points (item 5)

Tool recommendation:
- Torque wrench
- short 3/8 inch extension (maximum 75 mm)
- Crow Foot Wrench Nr.189-1 (Hazett 848Z)
- Loosen oxygen sensor.
- Oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter
- Tool
- 3.1. Connect extension with crow foot wrench -2- and connect to hexagon on sensor -1- . Position torque wrench and loosen sensor.
- 3.2. Unscrew oxygen sensor by hand.
