Information
- When reinstalling oxygen sensors, grease the thread with the Optimol Paste MF lubricant (Part No. 000.043.207.07) only.
- New oxygen sensors have already been greased and the thread is fitted with a protection cap.
- Install lambda sensors.
- 2.1. During reinstallation, the thread of the lambda sensors must be coated with the prescribed grease.
- 2.2. Install lambda sensor on side 4-6.
Screw in lambda sensor -6- downstream of catalytic converter -8- . Then tighten it with the Open Ring Wrench Nr.98 and torque wrench Nr.92 Pos.1.
→ Tightening torque: 55 Nm (41 ft. lb.) +/-5 Nm (+/-3.5 ft. lb.)
- Install lambda sensor on side 1-3.
- 3.1. During reinstallation, the thread of the lambda sensors must be coated with the prescribed grease.
