Disassembling And Assembling Air Cleaner Housing

3.8-Liter air filter only:

Pull off vacuum line on solenoid valve for tuning flap -1- .

3.8-Liter and 3.6-Liter air filter:
Unscrew eight Torx tapping screws (T25 screw insert) -1- on the upper part of the air filter.

Lift off upper part -1- .

Unscrew one Torx tapping screw (T20 screw insert) -1- on each air-cleaner element and pull out the element.

3.8-Liter air filter only:
Remove tuning flaps -2- .
1. 5.1. Unscrew two Torx tapping screws (T25 screw insert) -1- and unclip flaps -arrows- .

Assemble in reverse order.
→ Tightening torque: 2 Nm (1.5 ft. lb.)

→ Tightening torque: 3 Nm (2 ft. lb.)

→ Tightening torque: 2 Nm (1.5 ft. lb.)
