Installing Air-Cleaner Element

Information
Carefully tighten the tapping screws on the air cleaner housing by hand.
The air-cleaner element can be installed from either side.
- Slide the air-cleaner elements onto the sealing flanges at the left and right.
- 1.1. Position screw-type tabs and screw in one Torx tapping screw (T20 screw insert) on each one. Tighten the screws carefully.
→ Tightening torque: 2 Nm (1.5 ft. lb.)
- 1.1. Position screw-type tabs and screw in one Torx tapping screw (T20 screw insert) on each one. Tighten the screws carefully.
- Position upper half of air filter and secure in place with eight Torx tapping screws (T25 screw insert). Tighten the screws carefully.
- 2.1. Check that the top half is seated correctly.
