Installing Coolant Distributor Housing

- Install coolant distributor housing.
Information
- Replace O-rings.
- Grease O-rings with a light coating of Kluber Syntheso Glep (Part No.: 000.043.204.68).
- 1.1. Replace sealing rings -6 and 7- .
- 1.2. Fit coolant distributor housing and press it into the joining socket.
- 1 - Coolant distributor housing
- 4 - Screw
- 5 - Screw
- 6 - Sealing ring
- 7 - Sealing ring
- 8 - Sealing ring
- Install oil return lines.
→ 217820 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OIL RETURN LINE .
- 2.1. Install oil return line 4-6.
- 2.2. Install oil return line 1-3.
- Install engine carrier.
→ 103019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE CARRIER .
- 3.1. Support the engine with a transmission jack and Retainer Plate 9592
.
→ Tightening torque: 85 Nm (63 ft. lb.)
→ Tightening torque: 65 Nm (48 ft. lb.)
Information

- 3.1. Support the engine with a transmission jack and Retainer Plate 9592

- Install unit carrier.
- 4.1. Replace all sealing rings.
- 4.2. Fit unit carrier -2- and screw in and tighten screws.
- 4.3. Position coolant flange -5-
and screw in and tighten screws -3-
.
→ Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.)
- 4.4. Screw in and tighten screw -4-
on cable rail.
→ Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.)
