Removing Suction Fan For Seat Backrest

Detach center cover.
1. 1.1. Press cover -1- together slightly at the sides -arrows B- and use a plastic wedge to disengage the locking mechanism -inset- .

2. 1.2. Insert your hand in behind the top of the cover -1- and disengage it by pulling it up out of the backrest frame -2- (-arrow A- ).

  Carefully disengage cover for front middle backrest. Do not bend the retaining hook.
3. 1.3. Only for cover with seat ventilation: Unclip air-guide cowl from the backrest -arrows A- and pull forwards -arrow B- .

4. 1.4. Unclip cover with cushion and place it on the lower part of the seat -arrow- .

For seats with lumbar support: Loosen lumbar support and swivel it to one side with the lines connected. → REMOVING LUMBAR SUPPORT .
Cut tie-wrap -1- and remove insulation around the electric plug connection for the suction fan for the backrest surface -2- . Unplug electric plug connection on the suction fan for the backrest surface -2- (-A- ).

Unscrew the three fastening screws -2- , guide the suction fan for the backrest surface -1- upwards -A and remove it.
