Subsequent Work

  1. Fit rear wheel.

    → INSTALLING WHEEL .

    For vehicles with PCCB brake discs, use assembly aids (two assembly pins).

  2. Tighten the axle nut (securing drive shaft to wheel bearing housing). Also apply the brake (2nd mechanic required) while the vehicle is stationary on the ground.

    Tightening torque 460 Nm (340 ftlb.) 

  3. Install rear covers -1-  . → INSTALLING REAR COVER .

  4. Check wheel alignment values and make adjustments if necessary.

    → 449503 SUSPENSION ALIGNMENT, COMPLETE .

    → 4X00IN ADJUSTMENT VALUES FOR SUSPENSION ALIGNMENT .
