Removing Engine Cover (Design Cover): Removal

Information 

• For easier access to components, use the tool  > 9824 - flexible-head socket wrench  together with > 9824/2 - Torx Micro Bit if necessary. 

1. Remove fastening screws on the design cover at the ignition coils -3-  .
2. Lift up the torque support on the valve cover. Pull the design cover up off the fastening points.

   Design cover on engine

   1	Design cover on cylinder bank 1
   2	Design cover on cylinder bank 2
   3	Screw; design cover to ignition coil
   4	Fastening points (ball joints)

3. Remove design cover on throttle valve.

   Pull design cover off the throttle valve > Design cover on throttle valve  .
