Installing Engine Cover (Design Cover): Installation

Information 

The tightening specifications for the basic engine are stored centrally.

Tightening torques and assembly instructions for other assemblies (e.g. chassis, electrics, transmission or body) or for peripheral engine equipment can be found in the corresponding documents.

1. Lift up the torque support at the cylinder head cover. Move cover into installation position and press on the ball joints on the valve cover.
2. Fit fastening screws on the cover at the ignition coils.

   1	Design cover on cylinder bank 1
   2	Design cover on cylinder bank 2
   3	Screw; design cover to ignition coil
   4	Fastening points (ball joints)

3. Fit design cover for throttle valve.

   Fit design cover over the throttle valve and press on the Velcro strip > Design cover on throttle valve  .
