Installing Oil Spray Jets

Information 

• The type of oil spray jets used depends on the engine number. Always check the engine number when ordering new oil spray jets. 
• For specific allocations, always check the Porsche Spare Parts Information. 
• Adapted software must be installed on the control unit if necessary due to modified oil pressures. 

1. Insert oil spray jets into the upper part of the crankcase with new sealing rings and screw them on.

   To do this, grease sealing ring with Kluber Syntheso GLEP 1 and fit it. Check that oil spray jets are pointing in the correct direction of spray toward the inside of the piston crown. The oil spray jet must be aimed at the piston crown. > Spray direction  > Spray direction at the side  > Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
