Installing Pivot-Pin Locks

  1. Remove hardtop mounts. → Removing Hardtop Fastenings 
  2. Remove plastic cover -D-  from the bracket -A-  .

    Information 

    The pivot-pin locks are marked for a defined side of the vehicle.

  3. Insert pivot-pin lock -B-  into the bracket -A-  . When inserting the twist locks, ensure that the latching tab of the bracket engages exactly in the cut-out of the pivot-pin lock.
  4. Screw down fit bolt -C-  , in order to tightly clamp the pivot-pin lock -B-  in the bracket -A-  . Tightening torque → Tightening torque: 17 ftlb. 
  5. Press plastic cover -D-  into the pivot-pin lock.

  7. Install hardtop fastenings. → Installing Hardtop Fastenings
