Installing ATF Pan

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

Clean all magnets in the ATF pan. Make sure to stick the magnets back on fully.
Fit ATF pan with new gasket -1- . When doing this, check that all spacer sleeves -2- are inserted fully in the new gasket.

ATF-pan gasket
Tighten screws on the ATF pan in several stages and in diagonally opposite sequence.
> Tightening torque 8 (6 ftlb.) Nm +/- 1 (0.5 ftlb.) Nm
Install overflow pipe -C- .
> Tightening torque 2 (1.5 ftlb.) Nm
Screw in oil drain plug -A- with a new sealing ring -B- .
> Tightening torque 20 (15 ftlb.) Nm + 2 (1.5 ftlb.) Nm
