Subsequent work for function module

  1. Secure the coolant pipes in the tunnel area (holder -1-  and holder 3) and install the TPM antenna -2-  .
    1. 1.1. Install rear coolant pipe holder -1-  .

    2. 1.2. Install coolant pipe holder -3-  (at the front) and TPM antenna -2-  .

  2. Secure front coolant pipes (M6 screws) -arrows-  .

  3. Fill the system (pressure accumulator) by leaving the engine running (for about two minutes).

    Carry out a function test (lift and lower the front axle).

    1. 3.1. Lift the front axle. To do this, actuate the switch in the centre console -arrow-  as required.

      If the pressure accumulator was bled fully, it can take up to 2 minutes to reach the final vehicle height and for the message -LIFT-  to appear (next to the digital speedometer) when you lift the front axle for the first time.

    2. 3.2. Lower the front axle. To do this, actuate the switch in the centre console -arrow-  as required.

      The doors must be closed in order to lower the front axle.

      Do not lower the vehicle if there is an obstacle underneath it! 

  4. Install cover for front and centre underbody.
