Preliminary Work

Remove air cleaner housing.
→ 242519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING AIR CLEANER HOUSING .
Release drive belt.
→ 137819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING DRIVE BELT .
Remove rear silencer.
→ 263319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR SILENCER - GT3 .
WARNING:
Danger of objects or loads falling down
- Risk of squashing or crushing
→ Secure components to prevent them from falling down.
Lower the engine.
1. 4.1. Support the engine using engine retainer plate 9111/3 in conjunction with support plate 9111/4 and adapter 9111/1 .
2. 4.2. Loosen and unscrew M12 collar nuts on the engine mounting.
3. 4.3. Slowly lower the engine until the converted counter-hold tool retaining device 9732/1 fits into the pulley.
