Preliminary Work

  1. Remove the engine.

    → 100119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE .

  2. Remove the transmission.

    → 343527 REMOVING AND MOUNTING TRANSMISSION .

  3. Lift engine off the Master Gear unit elevating platform WE 1206  using an engine lift.
  4. Secure the engine on the engine assembly support using holder P201  and engine support 9667  .

  5. Disassemble engine down to the cylinder housing.

    → 100137 DISASSEMBLING AND ASSEMBLING ENGINE .

  6. Remove pistons and cylinders.

    → 131020 REMOVING AND INSTALLING PISTONS (WITH CYLINDER SLEEVE) - GT3 .
