Preliminary Work

  1. Disconnect the battery. → 2706IN00 WORK INSTRUCTIONS AFTER DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY
  2. Remove the front seat. → REMOVING FRONT SEAT
  3. Mount the front seat on the assembly fixture. → 7201IN MOUNTING FRONT SEAT ON ASSEMBLY FIXTURE

    Information 

    Driver's side only:

  4. Remove control unit for memory seat adjustment. → REMOVING CONTROL UNIT FOR MEMORY SEAT ADJUSTMENT

    Information 

    Only for vehicles with weight sensing AWS (USA) on the passenger's seat.

  5. Remove control unit for AWS. → REMOVING AWS CONTROL UNIT
