Removing microswitch for convertible-top compartment lid

- Move convertible top to service position.

- Remove cover over the engine
To loosen the carpet, pull out the plastic clips with the special tool 21 and fold back the carpet over the microswitch.
- Removing microswitches
Disconnect electrical plug connection -4- . Press locking tab and push the plug connection down and out. See Fig 1.
Undo fastening screw -1- and lift the retaining bracket -2- with microswitch up and out. See Fig 1.
Remove both tab washers -3- and take out the microswitch. See Fig 1.
