Removing hardtop fastenings

WARNING:
Material damage to convertible top frame and rear glass window!
- The convertible top must not be moved forwards electrically in service position.
REMOVING HARDTOP FASTENINGS INSTRUCTIONS

| 1 | Remove side-panel lining | Unscrew the top fastening screw -1-2-3- . See Fig 1 . |

| 2 | Detach cloth covering | Disengage the strip on left and right sides of cloth covering -4- . See Fig 1 . |
| 3 | Detach tension cable | Press the ball socket -5- . See Fig 1 . |
| 4 | Detach push bar | Press the ball socket -6- . See Fig 1 . |
| Swivel convertible top to the front | Swivel convertible top to the extent that the screws -A and B- . See Fig 1 . | |
| 5 | Unscrew fastening screws (A, B) | Lift tension bow, unscrew fastening screw -A--B- . See Fig 1 . |
| Open convertible top completely | When operating the convertible top, make sure that the unclipped push bar does not jam in the convertible top mechanism. | |
