Removing and installing rear stabilizer: Installation

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2004 Porsche Boxster, 2003 Porsche Boxster, 2002 Porsche Boxster, 2001 Porsche Boxster, and 2000 Porsche Boxster. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install in reverse order. Inspect the stabilizer for correct installation position.
NOTE:
  • The bend of the stabilizer must run downwards through the recess of the sheetmetal brace. Replace the stabilizer bearings if they are soiled or damaged.

Before installing, visually inspect all parts. Replace fastening nuts. Use correct tightening torques.
