DIAGNOSIS/TROUBLESHOOTING FOR FAULT CODE 14

1	Check battery	Examine battery	Step 2	Charge or replace battery -> End
2	Check the generator	Start engine Switch off the air-conditioning system, the lighting and the rear window heating Measure the voltage at both terminals of the battery	Approx. 14 V Step 3	Step 4
3	Check input voltage of the control module	Switch off ignition Pull plug C off the control module Switch on ignition Measure voltage between plug C on control module pin 2 and ground Measure voltage between plug A on control module pin 13 and ground	Approx. 12 V ->End	Check plug connections for corrosion and contact resistance -> End
4	Replace generator		-> End
