Windshield Wiper Transmission Replacement

Preliminary Procedures Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement . Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement . Remove the windshield frame reinforcement. Disconnect the wiper transmission electrical connector from the main engine harness. Push the wiper transmission electrical harness grommet into the plenum area.
1	Windshield Wiper Motor Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tip: Tighten bolts in sequence as shown upon installation. Tighten bolts to specified torque value. Tighten: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
2	Windshield Wiper Motor Bolt Tighten: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
3	Windshield Wiper Motor Bolt Tighten: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
4	Windshield Washer System Module Assembly Tip: Raise the forward edge of the module assembly out of the plenum panel first followed by wiper motor.
