Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the Instrument panel carrier to access the sunroof drain hose end. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement .

  2. Lower the headliner in order to access the drain hose connections. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (With PLA) , Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Without PLA) .
  3. Cut the tie wraps from the drain hoses.
  4. Disconnect the front drain hoses from the sunroof module assembly.
  5. Remove the interior moldings in order to access the drain hose retaining clips. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .
  6. Remove the tape from the drain hoses on the windshield pillars.
  7. Remove the front inner wheelhouse liners. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .
  8. Remove the front drain hose from the inner wheelhouse of the vehicle.
