J 8614-01:  Flange and Pulley Holding Tool

1. Put transmission in park.
2. Install either the J 8614-01:  holding tool, to hold the prop shaft flange (31) - model dependent.
NOTE: Discard retainer (30), seal (32), washer (33) and nut (34).
3. Remove the prop shaft flange nut (34).
4. Remove the prop shaft flange washer (33) and seal (32).
5. Remove the prop shaft flange (31) and the output shaft assembly retainer (30).
6. Slowly rotate the transmission to a vertical position, with the bell housing facing up, and allow any excess fluid to drain.
