Condition Action
DEFINITION: Vibration while driving.
  • Lack of automatic transmission fluid (ATF)
  • Burnt ATF
  • Incorrect ATF
  • ATF contaminated with engine coolant
Perform an ATF fluid inspection and correct as necessary. Refer to Transmission Fluid Check .
Engine and/or Transaxle mounts Inspect the engine and/or transaxle for loose, damaged or missing mounts. Repair as necessary.
Drivetrain "grounded out" to the vehicle chassis Inspect the compete drivetrain for signs of physical contact. Correct as necessary.
Drive Axles Inspect both drive axles for proper installation and/or damage. Repair as necessary.
Exhaust System Inspect the complete exhaust system for proper installation and/or damage.
Tires Inspect all four tires for signs of cupping or irregular wear pattern.
Engine Flexplate Inspect the flexplate for damage, excessive run-out. Correct as necessary.
Base Engine Inspect the engine for any base level concerns. Repair as necessary.
Internal transaxle concern Remove the transaxle assembly and disassemble. Repair as necessary.
