Liftgate Replacement

Preliminary Procedure: Remove the liftgate interior trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement .
1	Liftgate Strut Rod Refer to Liftgate Strut Replacement .
2	Liftgate Hinge Nut (Qty: 4) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tip: Mark the location of the liftgate hinges to the body with a grease pencil. Tighten: 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
3	Liftgate Assembly Procedure Disconnect the liftgate wiring connectors. Disconnect the rear washer hose. Pull the liftgate wiring grommet, the connectors and the rear washer hose out of the rear header. Remove the liftgate from the vehicle with an assistant, and place the outside face down on a clean, padded surface.
