Preliminary Procedures Disable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling . Remove the windshield garnish moldings. Refer to Windshield Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .
1	Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Cover (Qty: 2) Procedure: Use a nylon flat bladed tool to pry up the covers.
2	Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 10 N.m (89 lb in)
3	Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Procedure Disconnect the ambient light sensor electrical connector. When replacing the instrument panel upper trim panel, transfer all necessary parts.
