Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the rear seat cushion cover retainers from the rear seat cushion frame.
  3. Remove the rear seat belt buckle assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Center Belt Buckle Replacement .
1 Rear Seat Belt Anchor Bolt
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure: 
Apply Permatex® 24200 or equivalent on all seat belt fasteners prior to installation.

Tighten:  45 N.m (33 lb ft)

2 Rear Seat Cushion Frame Bolt (Qty: 6)

Tighten:  50 N.m (37 lb ft)

3 Rear Seat Cushion Cover

Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat back assembly from the seat cushion assembly.
  2. Pull the seat cushion cover and pad over the latch locations.
  3. Remove the seat cushion cover and pad from the frame.
  4. Use a small flat-bladed tool to remove the seat cushion cover from the pad by carefully disengaging the hook and loop fasteners.
