Liftgate Lower Molding Replacement (Torrent)

Preliminary Procedures Open the liftgate. Remove the liftgate interior trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement . Remove the center applique screw from inside the liftgate panel. Remove the 2 outer applique nuts, also from inside the liftgate.
1	Liftgate Center Applique Assembly Screw CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 2 N.m (18 lb in)
2	Liftgate Center Applique Assembly Nut (Qty: 2) Tighten: 4 N.m (35 lb in)
3	Liftgate Center Applique Assembly Retainer (Qty: 2) Tip: Release the retainers from inside the applique panel.
4	Adhesive Tape Tip: Release the adhesive tape backing and wet out after the rear applique has been installed to the liftgate panel.
