Preliminary Procedures Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling . Remove the shift control lever knob. Refer to Transmission Control Lever Knob Replacement . Remove the console. Refer to Console Replacement . Remove the shift control. Refer to Transmission Control Replacement .
1	Shift Control Bracket Bolt (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
2	Shift Control Bracket Nut (Qty: 4) Tighten: 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
