Preliminary Procedure: Remove the windshield wiper transmission. Refer to Windshield Wiper Transmission Replacement .
1	Windshield Wiper Motor Crank Arm Nut CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 9 N.m (80 lb in) Tip: Align the wiper motor crank arm parallel to the windshield wiper transmission links prior to installing the nut.
2	Windshield Wiper Motor Bolt (Qty: 2) Tighten: 9 N.m (80 lb in) Tip: Ensure the windshield wiper motor plate is re-installed prior to the wiper motor bolt installation.
