Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the front closeout panel. Refer to Floor Panel Tunnel Panel Front Closeout Panel Replacement .

  4. Using J 44827  release the transmission cooler lines at the radiator.

  6. Remove the transmission fluid cooler lines (1) from the radiator.

  8. Remove the bolt (1) securing the transmission fluid cooler lines retainer (2) to the transmission.
  9. Remove the transmission fluid cooler pipes from the transmission, and position aside.
  10. Remove and discard the O-rings.

  12. Remove the push pin retainer from the pipe assembly from the left engine support.

  14. Remove the push pin from the pipe assembly to the left engine support.
  15. IMPORTANT: Note the routing of the transmission fluid cooler pipes to ensure proper installation.
  16. Remove the transmission fluid cooler pipe assembly from the vehicle.
