Installation Procedure

  1. Install the ignition switch from the I/P pad. Refer to Ignition Switch Replacement .

  2. Install the I/P pad.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Tighten the I/P trim pad screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

  4. Install the park lock cable at the ignition switch. Refer to Park Lock Cable Replacement in Automatic Transaxle - 4T40-E/4T45-E.
  5. Install the ignition switch wire harness connectors. Refer to Ignition Switch Replacement .
  6. Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement in Entertainment.
  7. Install the HVAC control module. Refer to HVAC Control Module Replacement in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
  8. Install the accessory switch assembly. Refer to Accessory Switch Replacement .
  9. Install the I/P center trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Center .
  10. Install the cluster. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Replacement .
  11. Install the cluster trim bezel assembly. Refer to Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster .
  12. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
  13. Install the I/P compartment. Refer to Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) .
  14. Install the I/P outer trim covers. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Outer Trim Cover Replacement .
  15. Install the I/P upper trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Upper .
