Rear Seat Recliner Replacement (Bucket)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear bucket seat. Refer to Rear Bucket Seat Replacement (Rear Bucket Seat Replacement).
2. Remove the outer trim panel from the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Bucket) (Rear Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Bucket))Rear Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Split Bench) (Rear Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Split Bench)).
3. Remove the inner trim panel from the rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement (Front Bucket) (Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement (Front Bucket))Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement (Rear Bucket) (Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement (Rear Bucket)).




4. Disconnect the cable retainer from the seat back recliner, pushing up on the retainer.




5. Remove the cable from the seat back recliner.




6. Move away the seat back cover and pad in order to expose the seat back recliner bolts.
7. Remove the bolts from the seat back recliner.
8. Remove the recliner from the seat.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the seat back recliner to the seat.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the recliner seat back bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 40 Nm (30 lb ft).

3. Move the seat back cover and pad over the seat back recliner bolts.




4. Install the cable to the seat back recliner.




5. Install the cable retainer to the seat back recliner, pushing down on the retainer until fully seated.
6. Install the outer trim panel to the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Bucket) (Rear Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Bucket))Rear Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Split Bench) (Rear Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Split Bench)).
7. Install the inner trim panel to the rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement (Front Bucket) (Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement (Front Bucket))Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement (Rear Bucket) (Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement (Rear Bucket)).
8. Install the rear bucket seat. Refer to Rear Bucket Seat Replacement (Rear Bucket Seat Replacement).
