Assist Handle Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the upper center pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement).
2. Remove the bolts from the assist handle.




3. Remove the assist handle from the center pillar.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the assist handle to the center pillar.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the bolts to the assist handle.

Tighten the assist handle bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

3. Install the upper center trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement).
