Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal: Installation

  1. Coat entire seal with engine oil. Install seal using Seal Installer (J-35621) until installer bottoms. See Fig 1. Align crankshaft dowel to flywheel hole.
  2. Install flywheel/flexplate-to-crankshaft bolts. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
