Test VER-2A - Verification Test

  1. Reconnect all previously disconnected components and connectors. If Body Control Module (BCM) was replaced, go to next step. If BCM was not replaced, go to step 3).
  2. Enable VTSS if equipped. Using DRB, program all remote keyless entry transmitters. Recalibrate A/C-heater doors. Program other options as necessary.
  3. If any repairs were made to A/C-heater system or battery was disconnected, start engine and recalibrate A/C-heater doors using DRB.
  4. Ensure ignition is on. Using DRB, erase all trouble codes. Turn ignition on and wait 5 seconds. Turn ignition on and fully operate system that was malfunctioning. If system is operating properly, go to next step. If system does not operate properly, repeat TEST 1A - IDENTIFYING SYSTEM PROBLEMS  .
  5. Using DRB, read BCM trouble codes. If no trouble codes are present and customer's complaint cannot be duplicated, repair is complete. If any codes are present, go to TEST 1A - IDENTIFYING SYSTEM PROBLEMS  .
