Both Windows Inoperative

The following circuit test sequence determines whether or not voltage is continuous through body harness to switch.

  1. Remove driver door trim panel. Carefully separate wiring harness connector from switch body. Using a voltmeter, connect ground lead to Pin No. 3 of wiring harness connector.
  2. Connect positive lead to Pin No. 1 of harness connector and check for battery voltage. If OK, go to WINDOW SWITCH (1997)  . If not OK, check circuit breaker in Micro Relay bank. If circuit breaker is OK, repair wire as necessary.
