Parking Brake Shoes: Installation

  1. Install the rear park brake shoe. See Fig 1.

  2. Ensure that the shoe (1) engages the hold down clip (2). See Fig 2.

  3. Install the parking brake actuator. See PARKING BRAKE ACTUATOR .
  4. Install the rear wheel hub.
  5. Adjust the rear parking brake shoe. See PARKING BRAKE SHOE  under ADJUSTMENTS.
  6. Install the rear rotor.
  7. Install the rear caliper bracket. Refer to BRAKE CALIPERS . Install brake caliper.
