Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Remove the left knee airbag module. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  2. Remove the center console assembly. refer to Removal and Installation .
  3. Disconnect the harness connector from the parking brake switch.
  4. Remove adjusting nut (A) from the front parking brake cable.

    CAUTION: Do not reuse adjusting nut after removing it.
  5. Remove the nuts and lower the parking brake pedal assembly. Refer to Exploded View .
  6. Separate the front parking brake cable from the parking brake pedal assembly.
  7. Remove the parking brake pedal assembly.
