Drain and Refill: Draining

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the harness connector from the ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) or negative battery terminal. Refer to Exploded View .
  2. Connect a vinyl tube to bleeder valve.

  3. Depress brake pedal, loosen bleeder valve, and gradually remove brake fluid.
    CAUTION: Do not allow reservoir tank to empty as this may cause damage to master cylinder internal components.
