Removal and Installation: Removal

- Remove the cowl top extension. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Remove the engine room cover. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Remove strut brace.
- Remove front air duct and air duct hose and resonator assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Remove the breather hose.
- Disconnect the vacuum hose from intake manifold collector.
- Disconnect the power brake booster vacuum hose and the PCV hose.
- Disconnect the EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid hoses, then remove the EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid bracket bolts and remove EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid.
- Disconnect the harness connector from VIAS control solenoid valve and remove the VIAS control solenoid valve.
- Remove bolt (A) from EVAP valve service port bracket and position the EVAP valve service port aside. (For Mexico)
- Remove bolt (A) from vacuum valve delay bracket and position vacuum valve delay aside. (For United States and Canada)
- Disconnect the harness connector from the electric throttle control actuator, then remove the electric throttle control actuator bolts in the reverse order as shown, below. Remove the electric throttle control actuator and position aside.

CAUTION:- Handle carefully to avoid any shock to the electric throttle control actuator.
- Do not disassemble.
- Loosen the intake manifold collector bolts in the reverse order as shown, below.
- Remove the intake manifold collector, then remove and discard the intake manifold collector gasket.
