Diagnosis Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
2. Check voltage between seat cushion heater harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace seat cushion heater. Refer to Front Seat Heater .

NO

GO TO 2.

1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect climate controlled seat control unit connector and seat cushion heater connector.
3. Check continuity between climate controlled seat control unit harness connector and seat cushion heater harness connector.

4. Check continuity between climate controlled seat control unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3.

NO

Repair or replace harness.

1. Check continuity between climate controlled seat control unit harness connector and seat cushion heater harness connector.

2. Check continuity between climate controlled seat control unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace climate controlled seat control unit. Refer to Exploded View .

NO

Repair or replace harness.
