Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK SEAT BACK BLOWER POWER SUPPLY

Turn the ignition switch ON.

Check voltage between seat back blower harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace seat back blower. Refer to Seat Back Blower .

GO TO 2.

CHECK SEAT BACK BLOWER POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect seat back blower connector, seat cushion blower connector and climate controlled seat control unit connector.

Check continuity between seat back blower harness connector and climate controlled seat control unit harness connector.

Check continuity between seat back blower harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3.

Repair or replace harness.

CHECK SEAT BACK BLOWER GROUND CIRCUIT

Check continuity between back blower harness connector and climate controlled seat control unit harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace climate controlled seat control unit. Refer to Exploded View .

Repair or replace harness.
