Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK PRE-CRASH SEAT BELT CONTROL UNIT RH OUTPUT SIGNAL

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect seat belt buckle switch RH harness connector.
Turn ignition switch ON.

Check voltage between seat belt buckle switch RH harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3.

GO TO 2.

CHECK SEAT BELT BUCKLE SWITCH RH CIRCUIT

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect pre-crash seat belt control unit RH harness connector.

Check continuity between pre-crash seat belt control unit RH harness connector and seat belt buckle switch RH harness connector.

Check continuity between pre-crash seat belt control unit RH harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace pre-crash seat belt control unit RH. Refer to Removal & Installation .

Repair or replace harness or connector.

CHECK SEAT BELT BUCKLE SWITCH RH GROUND CIRCUIT

Check continuity between seat belt buckle switch RH and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 4.

Repair or replace harness or connector.

CHECK SEAT BELT BUCKLE SWITCH RH
Check seat belt buckle switch RH. Refer to Component Inspection .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Inspection End.

NO

Replace seat belt buckle switch RH. Refer to Removal and Installation .
